The International Criminal Court to send its first official visit to the Democratic Republic of Congo

 Situation: Democratic Republic of the Congo

The International Criminal Court will pay its first official visit to the Democratic Republic of Congo from 26 July to 30 July 2004. Officials of the Office of the Prosecutor and the Registry will hold closed meetings with representatives of the national authorities, civil society, and international organisations present in the country. The aim of the visit is to evaluate the possibilities for future cooperation.
