Situation in the Democratic Republic of Congo
On Thursday 13 July 2006, the Appeals Chamber of the International Criminal Court will deliver in open court judgment in the application of the Prosecutor of 24 April 2006 requesting extraordinary review of Pre Trial Chamber I’s decision of 31 March 2006 denying leave to appeal.
In its earlier decision of 17 January 2006, Pre Trial Chamber I had accorded to six applicants victim status at the investigation stage of the situation in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).
The hearing will start at 12.00 p.m. and close at 12.15 p.m. in the ICC Courtroom 1 located in the D-Wing.
Journalists wishing to cover the hearing are requested to arrive at the seat of the Court no later than 11.45 a.m.
The case of the Prosecutor v Thomas Lubanga Dyilo
On Friday 14 July 2006, Pre Trial Chamber I of the International Criminal Court will hold a public hearing in the case of the Prosecutor v Thomas Lubanga Dyilo.
The hearing will start at 11.00 a.m. in the ICC Courtroom 1 located in the D-Wing.
Journalists wishing to cover the hearing are requested to arrive at the seat of the Court no later than 10.45 a.m.
