Address by Judge Hans-Peter Kaul, Second Vice-President of the ICC, at the 4th International Humanitarian Law Dialogs

On 30 August, 2010, Judge Hans-Peter Kaul, Second Vice-President of the ICC, gave an address entitled “From Nuremberg to Kampala – Reflections on the Crime of Aggression” at the Fourth International Humanitarian Law Dialogs, organized by the Robert H. Jackson Center and held at the Chautauqua Institute in Chautauqua, New York. The focus of the symposium was “Crimes against Peace - Aggression in the 21st Century”. 

ICC distributes 200,000 copies of the booklet Understanding the ICC

In Kenya today, 4 September, the International Criminal Court (ICC) distributed 200,000 copies of the publication Understanding the ICC, reaching a population estimated at 20 million.  

The Registrar exchanged letters with the Kenyan Government on the operational and legal framework essential for the Court’s operation in its territory
