Call for Experts before the International Criminal Court
Under regulation 44 of the Regulations of the Court, the Registrar of the International Criminal Court has to compile and maintain a list of experts accessible at all times to all organs of the Court and to all participants in proceedings before the Court.
In order to compile the list, the Registrar is seeking to identify accredited experts and expert bodies in the following fields:
Experts in other fields may apply to be registered in the list but must explain to what extent their field of expertise is relevant in criminal proceedings before an International Jurisdiction such as the ICC.
Registration formalities

An expert must be able to demonstrate that he or she has a minimum of 7 years of experience (with an advanced university degree) or of 9 years to apply for the list.

Fluency in either of the working languages of the Court, English or French, is a prerequisite to apply for the list of experts.

The ICC aims to achieve fair representation of women and men in the list of experts. Female candidates are encouraged to apply.

[1] With a particular focus on the various situations: Uganda, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Darfur (Sudan) and the Central African Republic.
[2] The Court is searching for experts in finance who could assist it in the framework of financial investigations or freezing of assets proceedings.
[3] The Court is searching for psychologists who have worked with victims of crimes under the jurisdiction of the Court and/or who are living or have lived in particular circumstances (i.e. refugees camps, war zone or post-conflict societies, etc ...).
