ICC Disciplinary Organs for Counsel

The ICC Disciplinary Organs for counsel consisting of the Disciplinary Board, the Disciplinary Appeals Board, and the Disciplinary Commissioner, are established in accordance with Articles 33.1, 36, and 44 of the Code of Professional Conduct for counsel (ICC-ASP/4/32).

This page provides information on the composition and activities of the Disciplinary Organs.

The Disciplinary Board :

1.  Two permanent members:

1. Ms CONDÉ, Aïcha (France and Guinea)
   Ms TURNER, Diane (Canada), shall assume her functions, upon expiration of Ms CONDÉ’s current mandate, according to Article 36.7 of the Code of Professional Conduct for counsel
   
2. Mr KEMPF, Eberhard (Germany)
2. One alternate member:
   PETTITI, Laurent (France)

The Disciplinary Appeals Board :

1. Three judges taking precedence under regulation 10 of the Regulations of the Court and subject to any clause of exclusion as set forth by Article 44(4) (a) of the Code of Professional Conduct for counsel:

1. Judge SONG, Sang-Hyun , President
2. Judge DIARRA, Fatoumata Dembele 1^st Vice President
3. Judge KAUL, Hans-Peter 2^nd Vice President

2. Two members elected by all Counsel entitled to practice before the Court:

3. One alternate member elected by all Counsel entitled to practice before the Court:
