Privacy Policy of the ICC eRecruitment Site

The ICC "E-RECRUITING" System is designed as a full recruitment, job finding and career management Web site for the International Criminal Court.

Your privacy and the privacy of all registered users of the "E-RECRUITING" is important to us. We take every precaution to protect your personal information.

In connection with your use of our site, we ask for and collect information from and about you such as your name, email and postal addresses, education and work history, etc. As part of our services, you are required to complete an online personal history form through which we collect basic candidate profile information to be stored online with us. All of our users' information is restricted to our offices.

As a matter of policy, we do not collect any information about you of which you are not aware. You can access your personal information by logging into your account in "E-RECRUITING". Once there, you can update, modify or delete your personal information.

We do not collect personal information, passwords, or other details to be used for other than their intended purpose. We do not sell or share your personal information with any other organization or entity.

THE INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL COURT DOES NOT CHARGE A FEE AT ANY STAGE OF THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS (APPLICATION, INTERVIEW MEETING, PROCESSING, TRAINING OR ANY OTHER FEES). THE INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL COURT DOES NOT CONCERN ITSELF WITH INFORMATION ON BANK ACCOUNTS.

Your "E-RECRUITING" account containing your personal information is password protected. Only third parties that login with your password can access your account.

Please remember that you play a valuable part in security as well. Your password to access your "ERECRUITING" account, which you select at registration, should never be shared with anyone and should be changed frequently. And, after you have finished using our Site, you should logout and exit your browser so that no unauthorized persons can use our Site with your name and “ERECRUITING" account information.

Users who provide this personal information should recognize that by voluntarily displaying their personal information that information can potentially be collected and taken by you or by us.

"Perfect security" does not exist on the Internet. We cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us, and you transmit such information at your own risk.

Private information provided to the International Criminal Court on this site will not be shared with any outside organization without the user's express permission and will not be used for any commercial purpose.

Because the service depends on the exchange of accurate and timely information, we will make every effort to keep the vacancy announcements and other information up to date. We depend on you doing the same with the information that you provide to us. We reserve the right to close your account in "E-RECRUITING" if it contains inaccurate or inappropriate information. We will purge old information from the system in accordance with schedules.

Being customer oriented, we may occasionally ask you to participate in surveys to gauge the value and effectiveness of our services and to seek your advice on improving the service. Participation in such surveys is voluntary.
